As a tourist city, Pak Chong offers a diverse range of dining options, including local, Thai, Chinese, and Western cuisine. If you're seeking a restaurant that seamlessly blends Thai and European flavors, "The Bucket" is the place to be.

"The Bucket" is a restaurant and cafe serving both Thai and European dishes, along with freshly baked pastries made from quality ingredients daily.

The restaurant's top-selling dish is the "Secret Roasted Duck," a meticulous three-day process. It involves halving the duck, marinating it with their secret recipe, sous vide cooking for 14 hours, and smoking for another 2 hours. The duck is then fried to crispy perfection before serving. This dish has been featured on the popular Thai cooking shows "Krua Khun Reed" and "Krua Khun Toi."

Another highlight is the "BBQ Pork Ribs," prepared with equal care. The ribs are braised until tender and falling off the bone, and have also been featured on "Krua Khun Toi." They are available in small (490 baht) and large (790 baht) portions.

Other notable dishes include German Pork Knuckle, Spicy Fruit Salad with Ham, Pomelo Salad with Crispy Salmon, and Red Curry with Roasted Duck, a family recipe with rich curry paste and tender, smoky duck.

Petch-Pachara Woracharttrakul, 29, the owner of The Bucket, shares that his family has been in Pak Chong for generations. His grandfather founded the Pak Chong Dairy Cooperative, and his father was a construction contractor and duck and dairy farmer. Petch decided to open the restaurant.

"The name 'The Bucket' comes from our dairy farming background, where milk is collected in buckets. We wanted to represent that our restaurant gathers quality ingredients and dishes in one place. I graduated from Le Cordon Bleu Dusit with a French Cuisine degree, but I also enjoy baking. I learned Thai cooking from my mother, who taught me from a young age."

Popular pastries include Hong Kong Egg Tarts and Croissants, priced from 70-140 baht. Main dishes range from 200-1,000 baht.

Diners can enjoy their meals with a scenic riverside view and a spacious setting that accommodates up to 300 guests, with ample parking.

For a complete dining experience, The Bucket is an excellent choice. It's open daily from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
