Natural Spring Khao Yai: Refreshing All Year Round

Natural Spring Khao Yai (Nam Phut) is located in Ban Tha Chang, Pak Chong District. Admission is free, with convenient parking and a great coffee shop hidden by the stream in the parking area. If you're feeling drowsy, skip the franchise coffee and try this local brew.
After a cup of good coffee, you'll be wide awake to see the incredibly "clear" spring. This area prohibits food and drinks as it's a water source. The underground water that flows year-round is a natural spring.
The authorities have managed the area well, creating tiered pools before releasing water into the stream. This creates pools of various sizes. The first tier is fenced off, so visitors can swim in the second and third tiers. Bringing swim goggles is highly recommended for an enhanced swimming experience. This is a true natural swimming pool. Non-swimmers should wear life jackets, as some pools are very deep. The water temperature is "invigorating." It's bearable in the summer, but in winter, it's quite a shock. However, health enthusiasts swim here regardless of the cold, as the spring water from the rock layers is rich in natural minerals.
Nearby, kayak rentals are available for paddling along the stream, enjoying the greenery, water, and small waterfalls flowing from the rock layers.
During the tourist season, Nam Phut Ban Tha Chang, a hidden gem of Khao Yai, is bustling with visitors eager to experience this natural wonder.
