Khao Yai Guardian Spirit Veneration Ceremony: Uniting Hearts of All Communities

A grand and magnificent ceremony featuring over 500 students performing a devotional dance in reverence to the Khao Yai Guardian Spirit, commemorating his virtues in protecting the Khao Yai World Heritage Forest for future generations.

 

On January 26, 2025, in front of the Khao Yai Guardian Spirit Shrine, Khao Yai National Park, Mu Si Subdistrict, Pak Chong District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, Mr. Chaiwat Chuenkosum, Governor of Nakhon Ratchasima Province, along with Mr. Chaiya Huaihongthong, Chief of Khao Yai National Park, and people from all sectors, conducted the annual Khao Yai Guardian Spirit Veneration Ceremony.

 

Over 400 forest rangers participated in a pledge of allegiance, and 120 scholarships were awarded to the children of forest rangers. Meanwhile, the Khao Yai Tourism Association and the Hug Khao Yai Club, in collaboration with students from Pak Chong School, Ban Mu Si School, Ban Khlong Duea School, Ban Prang Khla School, local residents, and tourists, totaling over 500 people, performed a devotional dance in reverence to the Khao Yai Guardian Spirit. This dance commemorated the virtues of the Khao Yai Guardian Spirit in protecting the Dong Phaya Yen-Khao Yai Forest, which has been declared a natural World Heritage Site for future generations to enjoy.
