Khao Yai Car Free Day 2024

On September 21-22, 2024, Khao Yai National Park and its partners organized the "Khao Yai Car Free Day 2024" event, aiming to promote eco-tourism, reduce pollution, and allow tourists to experience nature up close, free from noise and vehicle pollution.
The event's slogan was "Low Carbon Khao Yai For All." Venerable Kampanat Sukhethito, Abbot of Wat Mu Si and Chairman of the Khao Yai Wildlife and Environment Conservation Group, along with Mr. Phrut Kerdchuchuen, Advisor to Khao Yai National Park, Ms. Phanchana Vatanasathien, President of the Khao Yai Tourism Association, representatives from Khao Yai National Park, the Khao Yai Tourism Association, and other partners, participated at the Khao Yai National Park Visitor Center in Mu Si, Pak Chong, Nakhon Ratchasima.
The atmosphere was lively, with many Thai and foreign tourists participating. They enjoyed walking, cycling, and various activities prepared by the organizers.
Walk-Run-Bike Activities: Participants joined the walk-run-bike activities on designated scenic routes. The event was very popular, with over 1,200 online registrations, including more than 150 cyclists, 700 walkers and runners, and 400 network participants.
The event's objectives were to promote eco-tourism, reduce environmental impact, raise awareness about environmental conservation, promote exercise and health, and allow tourists to experience nature up close.
